BIO

I develop computational and statistical methods for genomic epidemiology, with a focus on wastewater surveillance.

Since January 2026, I have been working in the Wastewater Surveillance for Pandemic Prevention network, under the supervision of Prof. Nick Grassly.

Previously, I completed a PhD in Computational Biology at ETH Zurich in Prof. Niko Beerenwinkel’s group. There, I contributed to setting up the wastewater genomic surveillance programme in Switzerland.

I hold a BSc and an MSc in Biology from the University of Geneva, as well as an MSc in Statistics and a PhD from ETH Zurich.

You can find a list of papers on Google Scholar, and you can watch an overview of my previous research in this webinar recording.

I am happy to chat about everything statistics / machine learning, modelling, and epidemiology.
