MrDarius Billimoria

Darius Billimoria is Head of Principal Gifts in Imperial’s Advancement Division. In this role, he leads efforts to secure philanthropic funding at the highest levels and supports the launch of Imperial’s first ever Global Fundraising Campaign.

The campaign will reflect Imperial’s ambition to strengthen its position among the world’s leading STEMB institutions and expand its impact on the global challenges that matter most. Darius works to build meaningful partnerships that connect ideas, networks and resources, creating lasting impact through education, research, innovation and community at Imperial.

Darius joined Imperial in 2026 from Amnesty International, where he was Senior Partnerships Manager for the Africa, Central Asia and Eastern Europe regions. In this role, he was responsible for securing and leading partnerships with trusts and foundations, including at seven- and eight-figure levels. Previously, he held a leadership position at the International Planned Parenthood Federation, where he was responsible for securing £132 million from the UK’s Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office. He began his career in the commercial sector.
