My research focuses on understanding and modeling complex dynamical systems from data. Working at the intersection of model order reduction, data-driven dynamics, and power systems, I develop methods that transform measurements from large-scale systems into compact, interpretable, and physically meaningful models. A central theme of my work is developing data-driven algorithms grounded in rigorous systems and control theory, with applications ranging from dynamic scene analysis in computer vision to modeling and monitoring oscillatory behavior in power grids.

I am also part of the Electric Power Innovation for a Carbon-free Society (EPICS) center, where I develop data-driven methods that use wide-area grid measurements to detect sub-synchronous oscillations and trace them back to their source. These algorithms enable system operators to pinpoint the equipment responsible for these oscillations and take appropriate measures to mitigate them.

I received my PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Imperial College London. Prior to my doctoral research, I worked as a software engineer at MathWorks in the United States, developing tools for control design and system identification. This combination of academic and industry experience continues to shape my interest in developing theoretically grounded methods that address practical engineering problems.
