BIO

Clare works across the International Relations Office and Advancement, leading on international partnerships and engagement with Africa and the Middle East.

Clare has responsibility for developing and managing the portfolio of existing and potential partnerships for the College in the Middle East and Africa – especially at cross-institutional and strategic levels. Specifically, this involves coordinating engagement with stakeholders in these regions, including governments, universities, research entities and scholarship organisations.

In addition, Clare manages relationships with key alumni and fundraising prospects in the Middle East and Africa; working to establish relationships and raise awareness of the College in these regions.

Clare joined Imperial in 2012, originally focussing on leading the College’s International Scholarships portfolio. Prior to that, she worked at the UCL Institute of Education.

Clare studied Arabic and International Relations. Before working at Imperial she spent three years living and working in Egypt.
