Balance and relience on vision for balance in people who are hypermobile
We are recruiting three groups; people with Joint Hypermobility who have wide placed symptoms, people who are hypermobile but symptom free and people who are not hypermobile and are symptom free. They will undergo a wide range of standard tests of balance, dependence on vision and tests of their inner ear, which helps to control balance. These tests will tell us if people who are hypermobile struggle to balance and feel clumsy as their control systems related to balance differs from others. Identifying why people struggle to balance will help us to target therapy appropriately
