TEACHING INTERESTS

For Imperial College, in addition to Genomics education delivered predominently through the MSc in Genomic Medicine (2015-) , Claire set up and delivered Respiratory Physiology courses for 6yr (2000-2014) and 4yr (2006-2014) MBBS students, and more recently (2020-2024) for Imperial's iBSc in Remote Medicine. Non-genomics foci are the pulmonary circulation, oxygen delivery, and Data Analysis where she has designed online programmes to train cohorts of students. The preponderance of student first authors on Shovlin-led publications (https://orcid.org/0000-0001-9007-5775) testify to her passion for training the next generation of scientists and clinical scientists.
