Cornelea is a Ph.D. Scholar funded by the Public Service Department of Malaysia (30 November 2022-present) at the Centre for Environmental Policy under the supervision of Ms. Karen E. Makuch and Dr. Zen Makuch.
She is interested to study climate-resilient water management in Malaysia through a comparative study between three (3) areas in the UK and Malaysia. Her research will provide an overview of the current state of water management in Malaysia, discusses the impact of climate change on water resources, and explores three (3) strategies to enhance water management in the face of climate change. Her research will conclude with recommendations for policymakers and practitioners to improve climate-resilient water management in Malaysia through the three (3) strategies which will be integrated into a conceptual framework. Cornelea is a Malaysian Administrative and Diplomatic Officer.
