DrCharles Coughlan

I am teaching faculty, and since 2025, external examiner, on the Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (DTM&H) short course at Nagasaki University, Japan. I also teach on the linked intensive short course in clinical tropical medicine at partner institutions in the Philippines, and the DTM&H at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. In August 2026, I was a visiting lecturer on the Clinical Global Infectious Diseases course at Aarhus University, Denmark. I provide regular teaching to undergraduate medical students at Imperial College while on clinical service and via the Department of Infectious Disease.
