BIO

Chris is a Senior Teaching Fellow in the Early Career Researcher Institute, leading the Programming programme, Chris teaching postgraduate students research computing. He aims to provide teaching which is informative and engaging that will help students produce high quality codes for research.

Chris obtained his doctorate in nuclear engineering from Imperial and then went on to work as a post-doctoral research associate for five years. In this time, Chris worked in the production of research codes designed to simulate the behaviour of nuclear systems including nuclear power plants. He was also assistant supervisor to a number of PhD students.
