MissCarys Bill

Carys is a PhD student in the Impacts Group at Imperial College London, funded by the Amelia and John Kentfield PhD Scholarship. Her research focuses on numerical modelling of large impact events, particularly the formation of the South Pole–Aitken Basin on the lunar farside. Her work also includes modelling Hellas Basin on Mars, and she has previous experience studying seismic waves generated by the Chicxulub impact. She uses iSALE shock physics code in both 2D and 3D on high-performance computing systems to run and analyse large-scale simulations of planetary impacts.
