BIO
I am a Geriatrics trainee in Northwest London and Clinical Research Fellow in movement disorders at Imperial College London (supervised by Dr Yen Tai). My ambition is to become an academic geriatrician, sub-specialising in movement disorders.
I have developed clinical experience in Parkinson’s disease (PD), including neuromodulation and advanced therapies, and research experience in literature review, gait and wearable data analysis. I am currently working towards a PhD focussing on aspects of gait and posture in PD. Dr Tai and I have been awarded small grants for exercise projects in PD from Sports Parkinson’s and Imperial Health Charity.
My publications include case reports and original qualitative research; other works are currently in draft. I have gained experience in teaching, including PBL and OSCE/PACES examining. I regularly teach on the PACES Ahead course and I’m part of the Zimbabwe-UK Geriatric Network (Zim-Gen).
