Summary
Bowen is a Research Associate in Chronic Disease Epidemiology at the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics, School of Public Health. Her research interests focus on multiple long-term conditions (multimorbidity), Alzheimer’s and dementia epidemiology and prevention, and drug repurposing.
Bowen began her academic research career at Imperial College since May 2015, and went on to pursue a PhD from February 2018. Following the completion of her PhD in October 2022, she continued to work at Imperial as a Research Associate starting. Prior to joining Imperial, Bowen obtained her MD degree from a university in China in 2012 and a Master of Health & Rehabilitation from the University of Southampton in 2014.
