BIO
Bruno Pimenta is an environmental economist whose research examines how climate change and sustainability policies reshape economic systems. His work combines applied microeconomics, geospatial analysis, and causal inference to study how individuals and firms respond to environmental constraints, with applications in land use, deforestation, renewable energy, and global supply chains. He received his Ph.D. in Agricultural and Resource Economics from the University of California, Davis, and is currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Imperial, where he studies the interactions between renewable electricity systems and supply chains.
