Behrouz is a Neonatal Sub-specialty Registrar in London and research fellow at Imperial College London, where he uses big data analytics to address critical questions in neonatal medicine.
Behrouz is a dedicated clinical academic with a passion for newborn health, the social determinants of health, and leveraging data to shape the future direction of healthcare. With experience spanning academia, clinical practice, and policy organisations, he is committed to fostering cross-sectoral collaboration to drive meaningful change. As a delegate to the World Health Assembly and through his work with the WHO on workforce planning, Behrouz has engaged at the highest levels of global health policy.
Nationally, he has led quality improvement projects and contributed to guidelines development for the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH). A strong advocate for patient and public involvement (PPI), he has served on the RCPCH Engagement Committee and conducted PPI activities to inform future research priorities.
