BIO
Cece’s research explores the social and economic dimensions of the green transition, focusing on how organizations adapt to climate risks and develop green skills and capabilities.
In her latest research, Cece works in cooperation with the British Chambers of Commerce and investigates how medium-sized firms in the UK perceive and respond to climate risks—physical and transition. Her research explores the role of corporate purpose, firm-level capabilities, individual-level skills and policy and regulatory frameworks in shaping business strategies and firm performance, focusing on manufacturing and service sectors. Prior to this, Cece also conducted a systematic literature review on how green skills and green capabilities impact firms' financial performance, identifying key enablers and barriers firms face in adapting to a net-zero transition.
