DrBelen Gimeno Molina

I started my career at the University of Valencia where I obtained a BSc in Biotechnology. Later, I received a MSc in Biomedical Biotechnology from the Polytechnic University of Valencia. I completed my PhD at Imperial College London at the Sykes/Kropf/MacIntyre lab, where I studied the role of complement and neutrophils in microbial-driven spontaneous preterm birth.

Since March 2023 I am a Research Associate at the Sykes lab, continuing to work in the role of infection and inflammation in preterm birth, particularly focusing in microbial-host interactions.
