DrBenoit Dagallier

I am an Assistant professor in the Pure Mathematics section.

Background:

Before coming to Imperial, I was a postdoc (2024-2025) at the CEREMADE working with Cristina Toninelli. I was funded through a Marie Curie cofund grant. In 2023-2024 I was a Courant instructor/assistant professor at the Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences. Before that I was a postdoc at the DPMMS in Cambridge with Roland Bauerschmidt (2021-2023). I completed my PhD in 2021 at CMAP, Ecole Polytechnique, under the supervision of Thierry Bodineau. Here is a link to my CV.

Research:
My research interests lie in probability and analysis, in particular in their application to statistical mechanics models and their associated dynamics. I am especially interested in non-equilibrium statistical mechanics, phase transitions and renormalisation. A list of my publications can be found here.
