BIO

Benjamin Blaise trained in medicine at the Faculté de Médecine Lyon-EST in France (anaesthesiology and intensive care for newborns and children) and chemistry at the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon (NMR based metabolic phenotyping).

He is a honorary research associate working under the supervision of Prof. Elaine Holmes in the Division of Computational and Systems Medicine, Department of Surgery and Cancer, Faculty of Medicine, Imperial College London.

His main research interests include:

- Metabolic phenotyping applied to anaesthesiology and intensive care

- Statistical analyses for metabolic phenotyping

- Nuclear magnetic resonance, particularly high-resolution magic angle spinning
