BIO
A physician-scientist with interdisciplinary expertise in medicine, pure mathematics (category theory), and computer science (machine learning and artificial intelligence), specialising in molecular oncology with a particular focus on pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma and AI-enabled research platforms for liver disease. Currently a researcher in the Department of Surgery and Cancer at Imperial College London, working on translational approaches for pancreatic cancer, liver cancer, and liver failure, with a specific emphasis on investigational gene therapy and advanced therapeutic strategies.
I work under the supervision of Professor Nagy Habib on translational approaches to pancreatic and liver disease, with a particular focus on bridging advanced laboratory innovation into clinically meaningful therapies. My work spans pancreatic cancer, liver cancer, liver failure, and severe metabolic liver disease, with an emphasis on investigational gene therapy, RNA-based therapeutics, targeted delivery systems, and biomarker-driven precision medicine. In parallel, I am also involved in the strategic and scientific development of preclinical therapeutic platforms focused on tissue-targeted delivery, including approaches for liver, brain, cartilage, and bone, with the aim of enabling more precise treatment of genetic, oncological, and degenerative disorders. This includes contributing to programme design, translational planning, platform development, and the broader scientific direction required to move novel therapeutic concepts towards clinical application.
