BIO

Apostolos Prionas is a doctoral researcher and member of the Hanna Group (https://www.thehannagroup.org), based in the Department of Surgery and Cancer at Imperial College London’s Hammersmith Campus. He is also a general surgery trainee in North East Thames by background, with a subspecialty interest in kidney transplant surgery.His research focuses on understanding the volatilomic profile of kidney transplant rejection, with the aim of developing a novel, point-of-care, non-invasive diagnostic test for the detection of subclinical (silent) rejection.
