Current research focuses on investigating intratumoral heterogeneity and mechanisms of drug resistance in oesophagogastric cancer by integrating single-cell transcriptomics, patient-derived organoid models, and CRISPR-based functional genomics. Research aims to elucidate the molecular and cellular mechanisms driving tumour evolution, therapeutic resistance, and disease progression, with the long-term goal of advancing precision oncology and developing more effective, personalised cancer therapies.
