BIO
I am a PhD candidate in Earth Sciences at Imperial College London and the Natural History Museum, supervised by Professor Jamie Wilkinson, Associate Professor Gareth Roberts and Professor Pieter Vermeesch (University College London). My research focuses on the use of detrital mineral geochemistry for porphyry deposits exploration. I began my PhD in 2025, having previously completed my undergraduate and MSc studies in Geology at the University of Chile.
My academic interests lie in the understanding of mineral deposits from a geochemical perspective and applying that understanding to exploration. I currently work on porphyry systems and have previously worked on iron oxide-copper-gold (IOCG) and iron oxide-apatite (IOA) deposits.
