BIO

My research focuses on understanding the immunological mechanisms driving immune thrombocytopenia (ITP). Using immunophenotyping, single-cell RNA sequencing, and T-cell receptor deep sequencing, I study the role of clonally expanded cytotoxic CD8+ T cells in mediating platelet destruction. Building on this, I am investigating whether T-cell receptor repertoire features at diagnosis can predict long-term disease outcome, with the aim of identifying early biomarkers to guide clinical decision-making in ITP.
