MrsAlice Saunders

Alice Saunders is a Managing Associate at the Transport Strategy Centre (TSC) within the Centre for Transport Studies at Imperial College London. Alice is Project Manager for the Community of Metros (COMET) benchmarking group, which consists of over 45 global metro operators and authorities, and leads their research study programme. 

Before joining the TSC, Alice worked as a Strategy Analyst at Transport for London (TfL), analysing travel demand trends and monitoring progress towards the Mayor of London's Transport Strategy aims. She also has experience in developing active travel policy at TfL and housing growth and development planning at the Crossrail 2 project and urban design consultancy Space Syntax

Alice has a Masters degree in Transport and City Planning from the Bartlett School of Planning, UCL where she received the Transport and City Planning Prize and the Vorhees-Large Prize for her dissertation on millennial travel behaviour. She has an undergraduate degree in Geography from the London School of Economics (LSE), where she specialised in Economic Geography.
