TEACHING INTERESTS
I teach the concrete component of the second-year autumn term undergraduate CIVE50009 Structural Design module. This module covers the design of key reinforced concrete structural elements to Eurocode 2 (including singly and doubly reinforced sections for bending and shear, rectangular and flanged beams, one-way slabs, braced and unbraced columns), detailing, durability and serviceability, along with an overview of structural drawing for reinforced concrete elements.
I also supervise MEng Final Year Projects and MSc research dissertations.
