BIO

Aglaia is a President's PhD scholar in the Division of Psychiatry, supervised by Prof Dasha Nicholls. Her research investigates the potential of delivering AI-informed digital behavioural interventions to support adolescents' mental health in schools. She works at the intersection of the fields of digital health, psychiatry and population health. She holds an MSc in Translational Neuroscience and a Master's in Public Health (Health Promotion and Service Improvement) from Imperial College London, and a BSc in Biomedical Sciences from UCL.

Aglaia is a passionate mental health activist. She held the position of Mental Health Officer at Imperial College Union from 2022 to 2024 and co-led the development of Imperial's mental health strategy. In 2023, she was awarded the Student Award for Outstanding Achievement as a demonstration of her contribution to the excellence of the college. Aglaia is an advisor to the mental health charities Student Minds and Rethink Mental Illness and has significant experience in policy, academic publishing, and science outreach. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and has recently been recognised as one of Italy's top 10 emerging talents in Healthcare & BioSciences.
