DrAdo Farsi

Dr Ado Farsi is a computational mechanics scientist at Imperial College London and University College London (UCL), as well as the co-founder of Tanuki Technologies.

He leads the Farsi Computational Mechanics Lab, where his research spans fundamental advances in physics-informed operator learning and differentiable scientific computing, alongside a broad range of engineering applications. These include rock mechanics, fibre-reinforced concrete tunnels, the optimisation of catalyst supports for hydrogen production, and the simulation of Arctic sea ice.

Dr Farsi’s expertise lies in computational mechanics, particularly finite element and discrete element modelling, as well as machine learning. He has delivered invited talks and organised sessions at leading international computational mechanics conferences, including the World, European, and US National Congresses on Computational Mechanics, and at the American Rock Mechanics Association.
