Aleksandra Wingert is a PhD candidate in the Centre for Psychedelic Research at Imperial College London, based in the Department of Brain Sciences. Her doctoral work focuses on the effects of microdosing serotonergic psychedelics in people with mood disorders, including the design and delivery of the Citizen-Science Microdosing Study 2.0.
Her research emphasis is biomarker-led translation. Alongside psychological outcomes, she investigates markers linked to neuroplasticity and broader biological function, including physiological regulation, immune function, and mitochondrial biology, with the aim of generating evidence that is usable in real-world settings and scalable mental health innovation.
