Alex Baker is the Portfolio Manager for the Imperial Clinical Trials Unit (ICTU), within the School of Public Health. She is a pharmacology graduate and over 7 years experience in managing multi-centre CTIMP and no-CTIMPs within academia, primarily in the cancer therapeutic area.
The Portfolio Manager oversees all of the ICTU portfolio, ensuring they meet timelines, budgets, and regulatory standards. Key duties include overseeing trial setup, milestone tracking, reporting, and closeout, while supporting staff development and collaborating on process improvements.
