BIO
I am a first year PhD student in Chemical Engineering at Imperial College London in the field of precision spray drying formulations under the supervision of Prof. João Cabral. My research will aim to provide new insights into droplet-to-particle transformations using acoustic levitation of single droplets. This elegant, contact-free technique can be coupled with analytical probes to explore the thermodynamics and out-of-equilibrium processes involved in the solidification of formulated particles. I am thrilled to be joining a dynamic university whose science is strengthened by its commitment to collaboration.
I am from the small town of St. Legier in the French-speaking region of Switzerland. Unsurprisingly, I love skiing and hiking in my free time. Prior to joining Imperial College London, I completed my undergraduate degree at Cornell University in the Department of Chemistry. I conducted research in Prof. Tristan Lambert’s group where I developed novel synthetic strategies to harness the chemistry of diazenes for complex bond formation.
