BIO

Mr Aidan Roche joined the Department of Bioengineering in 2024 to establish the Bionic Integration Lab. As a practising Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon and a qualified Bioengineer, Mr Roche is well set to lead an interdisciplinary group of academics and clinicians to tackle the challenges of limb loss and nerve injuries to restore mobility. His lab is accepting applications from interested and creative individuals who enjoy working at the interface between human and machine.
