Dr Aubin Ramon is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in protein design in the Sormanni Lab, developing machine learning tools to engineer novel antibodies and nanobodies as diagnostic and therapeutic agents. Building on his PhD, "Advancing nanobody discovery and engineering with sequence-based machine learning", he now pursues structure-based approaches for the multi-objective optimisation of antibodies via diffusion models. 

Aubin is passionate about science diplomacy and public health, working to foster international research collaboration for more efficient and equitable biomedical studies worldwide. Alongside his research, he is the founder and director of AKRO Theatre, an independent theatre company based in London.
