Arul's current research interest include the biomechanics of lower limb injuries in blast. As part of the Blast Biomechanics group within the Centre for Blast Injury Studies, he has been involved in developing a cadaveric test platform, capable of simulating the effects of a mine explosion on vehicle occupants. His other main research focus is related to foot and ankle biomechanics and surgery.
