DrAndrey Poletaev

Andrey is a materials chemist specialising in experimental and computational probes of ion dynamics. He has watched atoms move with optics, x-rays, and electrons, and simulated their dynamics from first principles. He studies how well-defined yet correlated atomistic steps assemble to produce macroscopically useful performance in battery materials. His most recent interests are in the dynamics of phase transformations as they relate to manufacturing materials for these competitive applications.
