BIO
Anke is a Cancer Research UK (CRUK) Career Development Fellow and Group Leader within the Division of Cancer at Imperial College London. Her research aims to understand how alternative RNA splicing contributes to cancer and identify targets to develop new therapeutics.
Her work focuses on various RNA splicing inhibitors such as small molecular glue protein degraders of splicing factor RBM39. Through integrative multi-omic analyses she aims to understand how targeting RNA splicing can be utilized for therapeutic intervention or improve current clinical agents with rationale drug combination strategies.
