BIO

Amir Nassibi is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Imperial College London. His research focuses on biomedical signal processing, wearable and hearable sensing systems, embedded systems, and applied machine learning for physiological and neural monitoring.

His current work involves the design and development of multimodal wearable platforms for long-term monitoring of physiological signals, including EEG, ECG, PPG, motion, and temperature. He has contributed to research on in-ear sensing, edge AI, biomedical embedded systems, and machine-learning-based analysis of physiological data.

Amir received his PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Imperial College London, where his research focused on intelligent neural decoding of depression using EEG and machine learning. He also holds an MSc in Advanced Digital Systems from the University of Hertfordshire. His work has been published in IEEE journals, biomedical engineering journals, and international conferences.
