BIO
I am currently doing my PhD in techno-economic assessment of flexible assets for providing frequency and inertia in low carbon power system. My research is supervised by Prof. Goran Strbac, Dr Luis Badesa and Dr Marko Aunedi. Prior to joining Imperial College London, I received a first class Master of Engineering degree from Queen Marry University of London.
The aim of my research is to investigate the cost effective power system that is secure as well carbon neutral. To meet net zero target by 2050, UK power sector needs to be decarbonised. To meet the electricity demand while emitting zero emissions is one of the challenges. Hence this research focuses on evaluating the role and value of new emerging technologies in supporting cost effective decarbonisation while ensuring frequency security.
