I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Computing at Imperial College London, working with Stefanos Zafeiriou and Rıza Alp Güler. My research focuses on the capture and synthesis of realistic virtual humans — reconstructing human motion from images and wearable sensors, animating photorealistic avatars in novel 3D scenes, and generating human behaviour conditioned on 3D scenes and language.

I completed my Ph.D. at the University of Tübingen and the Max Planck Institute for Informatics, advised by Gerard Pons-Moll. During my Ph.D. I interned at Snap Research in New York — working with Chuan Guo, Bing Zhou, and Jian Wang — and at Huawei Noah's Ark Lab in London, where I collaborated with Eduardo Pérez-Pellitero, Helisa Dhamo, and Arthur Moreau. I was also a visiting student at KAUST, and I collaborate extensively with Peter Wonka. Before my Ph.D., I obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from Saarland University, Germany. My work was shortlisted for the Best Paper Award at CVPR 2021.
