BIO
Angels Mayordomo-Aranda completed her Medical Degree in 2005 at the University of Valencia (Spain), after which she started her training in Psychiatry. Angels qualified as a Psychiatrist in May 2010 in Spain.
In 2010 Angels was awarded a Koplowitz fellowship and worked in London as an honorary SpR in CAMHS. She also worked at the Academic Unit of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Imperial College (London, UK).
During this time, Angels worked on two research projects: one looking at Stigmatising Attitudes towards Sickle Cell Disease in Trainee Teachers in Nigeria and another on Ethnic Variation in Self-reported Delinquency amongst Adolescents.
Angels' special academic interest is in the area of Teaching. She has done the PG Certificate in Teaching at Imperial College and is currently undergoing the Diploma level. She enjoys teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students.
