RESEARCH
After completing my PhD in Semiconductor Physics, I redirected my research interests to the field of biological physics.
My main current research investigates cellular biomechanics and computational biophysical modeling in cardiac muscle. Biophysical models describe and analyse mechanical properties in terms of basic functional parameters, allowing a systematic understanding of biological and physiological function at the systemic level.
