BIO

Agnieszka Lemanska is an Assistant Professor in Digital Health and Clinical Trials based at the Imperial Clinical Trials Unit (ICTU). Her research interests include prospective randomised evaluations of digital health interventions and the use of NHS data, national registries, and cohort studies to supplement trials and to evaluate and improve healthcare using trial emulation, quasi-experimental, and non-randomised statistical designs.

 

She is currently (2025–2026) undertaking the NIHR Transatlantic Fellowship in collaboration with the National Cancer Institute (NCI), NIH, Washington, DC, USA, where she is working with the NIH-AARP cohort study to investigate cancer risk.

 

She is an expert member of the NHS Health Research Authority (HRA) London–Surrey Borders Research Ethics Committee (REC), where she contributes her expertise in clinical trials, healthcare evaluation, pharmacy, and the use of real-world data in health research.
