Dr Amy Howard (she/her/they) joined Imperial as a Lecturer in Bioengineering in 2024. Her research focuses on developing neuroimaging methods to probe the microscopic structure of the brain - i.e. the shapes and sizes of cells - and how the brain is connected in intricate networks that underpin function and behaviour. Prior to joining Imperial, Amy was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Wellcome Centre for Integrative Neuroimaging (FMRIB Centre) at the University of Oxford, where she also completed her DPhil (PhD equivalent).
