BIO

[Note: Alejandro is currently visiting the Machine Listening Lab at Queen Mary University London]
Dr. Alejandro Canek Hermida Carrillo is an Imperial College Research Fellow (ICRF) in the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship at Imperial Business School.

In his fellowship, Alejandro combines computational methods with sociological and social psychological theories to examine how business and political leaders interpret the world, and how that understanding feeds back into the larger socio-economic structures in which they are embedded. More broadly, his work views individuals and organizations as dynamic systems that evolve through continuous interaction with their social environments. Before joining Imperial, Alejandro completed a PhD in Management at the LMU Munich, Germany. Prior to his PhD, he studied Psychology also at the LMU Munich (MSc) and the UNAM in Mexico (Licenciatura).
