MissAlice Gregory

Alice is a Designer within the Helix Centre at the Institute for Global Health Innovation, leading design for projects across Imperial NHS Healthcare Trust. She brings a Human-Centred Design and service design expertise to the Centre's work translating research into tangible improvements in patient and clinician experience.

Within Helix, she has led projects to improve equity and accessibility across Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, including a redesign of patient appointment communications estimated to save the NHS over £500,000 a year, and a community platform developed with the DEBRA charity supporting patients living with Epidermolysis Bullosa. She is also a researcher and advocate for dance for health, leading co-designed dance for wellbeing initiatives in the community and securing funding to sustain them.

She spoke at TEDxNHS in 2025 on designing arts for wellbeing activities to be genuinely accessible to people with different access needs, and has been module leader for three years on the joint Masters in Healthcare Design run by the Royal College of Art and Imperial College London.

She is a graduate of Aston University (BSc Hons Product Design and Management, First Class). She holds an ISTD associate qualification in modern ballroom and teaches weekly dance lessons at Pineapple Dance Studios.

Prior to joining Helix, she was a Senior User Experience Designer within BBC Systems and Service Design, where she created and led the BBC's in-house service design training programme,
