Dr. Foust leads the Optical Neurophysiology Laboratory at Imperial College London. Her research engineers bridges between optical technologies and neuroscientists to acquire ground-breaking data on how brain circuits wire, process, and store information. She develops optical and computational strategies to enable fast, volumetric, cellular-resolution manipulation and readout of membrane potential.
