TEACHING INTERESTS

Research capacity building is one of the objectives of the WNL ICB - ICL SPH partnership. Within this objective, she has led the following educational activities: 

 

  • sessions on research skills, methods, targeting a non-academic, varied ICS audience (providers, commissioners, VCSE sector) delivered as part of the Population Health Academy offer 
  • sessions on producing and disseminating research for a policy and decision-making audience, to support dissemination and evidence translation initiatives. This included a sessions to MSc students on research coproduction with policy making actors. 

 

Planned capacity building initiatives involve facilitation of evidence translation and implementation.  

 

She supervises MSc level student projects, junior research colleagues. 

 

She also supervises paramedics and allied health care workers colleagues employed at her GP surgery and provides teaching to undergraduate medical students and GP trainees as part of their primary care placements.
